On Monday evening at 19:46 hrs, County Wide Communications alerted the 5-2 Engine and Ambulance to 342 N. Bridge Street in Christiana Borough for a motor vehicle accident. And because there was nothing else going on in town, at 19:47 we dumped the house. Chief 5-2 (Buckwalter/Reimold) arrived on scene at 19:48 confirming one vehicle into a retaining wall, with one patient. Engine 5-2-1 and both Tankers arrived at 19:48 and split the tasks of hazard control and patient packaging with the medical equipment on the Engine, while a gaggle of fire police closed N. Bridge Street. Ambulance 5-2-1 transported the patient to a local medical facility.
The command was cleared at 21:06, after we assisted Null's Towing, and dressed up Daryl's kid like a fireman.
