On Thursday ( Thanksgiving Day ) 11/25/2021 @ 20:14 hours, Christiana Fire was dispatched into the 52-02 Box area for a Dwelling fire reported in the chimney. Initial report from Captain 52-2 was a large 21/2 story farmhouse with flames visible from the chimney. Engine 521 w/6 arrived on location at 20:22 laying a supply line in the driveway. Duty Officer 52 arrived establishing Command 52, while Engine-Tanker 52 w/4 picked up the supply line. Truck 42 ( Gap ) w/5 arriving at 20:24 went to the roof for chimney operations with both crews reporting no extension. The incident was placed under control at 20:38 with all units returning a short time later.
