On Sunday, March 8th, 2020 @ 09:48 A.M. Bart Township Fire Company ( 51 ) with surrounding mutual aid companies were dispatched to 881 Mount Pleasant Road in Bart Township for a possible dwelling fire. First arriving units reported heavy fire in the basement with extension to the first & 2nd floors. Engine 521 ( Christiana ) arrived on scene laying out 900 feet 5" supply line from a hydrant on Mount Pleasant Road to the scene. Crew members from Engine 521, Engine- Tanker 52, & Squad 521 went forward to assist with fire suppression. Multiple handlines were able to bring the fire under control by 10:33 A.M. with extensive overhaul until being released at 12:43 hours.
