The Christiana Fire Company would like to thank Senator Michael Brubaker and his office staff for the donation of a new United States of America Flag to replace the old one that we had to retire.
The old flag provided years of service to the residents of Christiana as it flew proudly over the grounds of the fire company. After many storms, late nights and windy days - its time of service came to a close.
The retired stars and stripes will be given over to the US Marine Corp League for proper disposal while the new flag takes over for our fire company.
The new flag was placed into service with all new hardware on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 18:40 hours.
