At 09:10 on Tuesday morning, LCWC alerted the Christiana Volunteers for the Brush Unit to assist station 5-8 on a working woods fire at the Pinnacle point in Martic Township.

Brush 5-2 (FF Stolztfus) made the reponse at 09:17. Upon arrival the crew of 2 personnel partnered up with a crew from 5-13 and started off down the mountain. Many crews were called out and assisted in controlling the massive blaze. Forestry crews were brought in and eventually took control of the situation and relieved many of the tired firefighters. Brush 5-2's crew picked up and helped pull and load hose before being released back to the borough at 14:05.

Tanker 5-2-1 was also alerted shortly after the Brush's response for a standby crew needed at station 5-7. Tanker 5-2-1 made the response at 09:28 and stood by until being released at 13:26.

Units: Brush 5-2, Tanker 5-2-1
