| On Friday our new firefighting turnout gear that was ordered back in December was delivered from Moul Fire Equipment.
The Christiana Fire Company ordered six sets of Globe G-Extreme turnout gear to replace some of the current aging Quaker Safety gear we currently have. The new Globe gear represents some of the newest technologies in firefighting equipment and provides better protection to our firefighters.
The money for this project was funded partially by our state grant this year, and partially by fireman's relief. The remaining money from the state grant program will be used for debt reduction and other fire company equipment. |
