At 03:21 AM, Thursday March 31st, Christiana Fire Company tones dropped for a possible barn fire at 825 Bartville Road in the 51-02 box area of Bart Township. Upon the arrival Chief 51 ( Hoover ) reporting a 30 x 60 2 story barn well involved with exposures. Engine 521 arrived as 3rd due engine @ 3:37 AM. sending its crew forward for fire suppression. Engine Tanker 52 joined numerous other tankers for the water supply, while the crew of five assisted the engine crews. The incident was placed under control at 04:15 AM. with units returning at 05:34 AM.
