Chester County Station 35 ( Wagontown ) along with mutual aid companies were dispatched for a reported barn fire at 298 Martins Corner Road in West Caln Township. Upon arrival of Chief 35 report given as smoke all sides of a large stone barn, with the closest hydrant at least 4900 feet away. At this point the first alarm tanker task force was dispatched which included Engine-Tanker 52 with a crew of 6. On arrival the crew went forward for salvage & overhaul while the tanker joined numerous other companies for water supply. Fire was placed under control at 14:29 and tanker was placed back in service at 16:24.
