Today at 11:34 am Station 52 was dispatched to assist Chester County Station 8 with a reported barn fire at 6144 Limeville Road in West Sadsbury Township. Chief 8 arrived with a working structure fire on side "A" requesting the working fire dispatch & tanker task force. Engine 521 w/6 responded and were on location at 11:46 am. taking the "C" side and running the 300 ft. line interior. Ladder 8 took the "A" side & Rescue 42 handled the "D" side. Upon arrival of Engine-Tanker 52 w/6 @ 11:47 am, assigned as water supply for Rescue 42. Fire crews worked quickly to knock down the fire, placing the incident under control at 11:57 am. Livestock was removed prior to arrival and crews rescued 6 puppies in the area of the fire. Station 52 Responded with 19 members.
