Busy Saturday Afternoon- Brush/ Woods

Saturday, November 19th started out with bright sunshine and temperatures in the mid 60's,perfect day for working in the yard. However, conditions started to change just before noon with the approach of a cold front. Temperatures started to drop and winds picked up 20 to 30 mph, gusting to 40 mph. This made for a busy afternoon and evening.

12:08- Woods 1A 489 Noble Road, Sadsbury Township- Brush 52-1, Engine 52-1, E/T 52-1
Brush and Engine handled less than 1/4 acre of woods. 25 members Total

12:17- Woods 1A 929 Chestnut Street Salisbury Township Assist Station 42 ( Gap ) E/T 52-1 W/7 Water Supply and Fire Suppression.
At 12:39 Engine 52-1 W/6 set up Tanker fill site at Gap reservoir supplying 10,000 gallons of water. Two acres of fast moving fire.

16:23 - Brush 1A 80 Slaymaker Hill Road, Paradise Township- Assist Station 45 ( Kinzer ) Brush 52-1 W/3 ( Recalled while in Route )

16:35 - While returning from Previous Call, Brush 52-1 notified LCWC of a Fast moving Brush Fire in The Station 42 ( Gap ) Local, Route
30 at Brackbill Road 19 members on station

18:05 - Woods 1A 34 Borough Line Road, Highland Township, Chester County, Assist Station 8 ( Keystone Valley ) Fast
moving fire ( Approximately 20 plus acres ) Brush 52-1 W/3 14 members on Station
