Fire Police from Christiana Fire Company were alerted at 07:39 hours to assist the Kinzer Fire Company as part of a Fire Police task force to help shut down Route 30 in both directions in Salisbury Township due to a tractor trailer accident with wires down and across the road.

Squad 52-1 responded at 07:52 hours and was placed at Route 41 and Bridge Street in Gap, PA to help keep everything moving as smoothly as possible.

The crew from the squad were at that location until they were released at 09:47 hours.

While the bulk of traffic was over from the rush hour time; the road continued to be closed well until the evening so that PPL could replace the poles and wires in the location and the tractor trailer could be removed from the scene.
