At 14:06 hours, the Lancaster County Wide Communications (911 Center) set off the pagers of Station 52 alerting them to a first alarm barn fire in Upper Oxford Township as part of the box assignment for Chester County Cochranville Fire Company (Station 27).

Tanker 52-2 responded at 14:07 hours with Tanker 52-1 following behind at 14:12 hours.

Both units were placed into the tanker water supply shuttle to help maintain an adequate water supply for fire fighting efforts.

Tanker 52-2 returned available at 15:49 hours while the crew for Tanker 52-1 was on the scene assisting with man power needs until they were released at 16:20 hours.

We would like to thank Tanker 45 (Kinzers Fire Company) for standing by in our quarters while we were at the Cochranville box assignment.
