The Christiana Fire Company received official notification today from the Department of Homeland Security's Grants Program Directorate of yet another Federal grant being awarded to our organization.

The Assistance to Firefighters Grant (2015) was announced and posted today via the FEMA online site located at http://www.fema.gov/assistance-firefighters-grants-award-year-2015 The grant, in the amount of $55,200, is being awarded for the purchasing and outfitting of 25 personnel in new Personal Protective Equipment. This grant enables the Christiana Fire Company to continue to grow and move forward in training and providing for new and existing firefighters wishing to serve the communities where they live.
