On Monday evening Christiana firefighters went over to Atglen Recycling for an evening of vehicle rescue training. Crews arrived and were given a scenario of a vehicle into the side of a truck. Firefighters worked with the crew of Ambulance 46-1 to extricate a patient by removing both drivers side doors along with the b post. After the extrication scenario, crews proceeded to brush up an techniques by removing remaining doors and roofs of both vehicles. Crews also reviewed stabilizing techniques as well as tool familiarization.

Thanks to Atglen Recycling for the use of there property and for training officer Captain Stoltzfus for getting this great night of training together.
