Weekend Brings Two Accidents

On Friday morning at 00:21 hrs Ambulance 46-1 and Engine 52-1 were dispatched to 752 Valley Ave. in Atglen borough for a vehicle accident. Deputy (Fisher) and Captain 52 (Lofgren) went enroute and received the additional of one vehicle accident with one patient out of the vehicle. Engine 52-1 responded with a crew of six, arriving soon after to find one vehicle off the road into a large sign. Firefighters checked for stabilization and forced the door for PSP to gain access to the vehicle. Crews awaited Nulls towing and cleared approximately an hour later. Squad and Brush 52 also made the response with additional manpower on this call.

On Saturday evening at 20:58 hrs Ambulance 46-1, Medic 6-5 and Engine 52-1 were dispatched to 85 Creek Rd. Sadsbury Township for a vehicle accident with a vehicle reported overturned. Engine 52-1, Tanker 52-1 and Squad 52 made the response. Assistant 52 (Buckwalter) arrived and found one patient self extricated. The medic unit was later recalled and crews returned after the tow truck arrived and loaded up.
