| At 1835hrs Tuesday evening, Lancaster 911 was dispatching Christiana Fire for the Pumper Tanker transfer to Chester County station 23 (Avondale) whom along with many other sourthern chesco companies were operating on a 2A Dwelling fire at 5 Ayers Ct in Pocopson Township. Early arriving units reported a working fire in an attached garage.
Tanker 52-1 with a staffing of 7 personnel made the response soon after dispatch but was redirected within minutes to report to the scene for manpower. Arriving on scene, crews split for manpower pool and cleanup duties. Among other duties, crew members assisted in wrapping up 1500ft of 5” hose. Members cleared the scene heading back to Lancaster County by 2042hrs.
Tanker 52-1 also fielded a crew for an earlier (0528hrs) Chesco standby to Union Oxford. Members returned from there at 0743hrs. |
