A quick moving storm that entered into the area early Sunday morning had many roads in Lancaster and Chester counties extremely icy. Early morning road closures and accidents caused many in the area to be delayed or just plain cancelling plans.

Christiana members were no different as requests for accident investigations and road closures brought crews out to assist for a good portion of the morning. As temps rose, roads became mostly wet but as evening set in it wasn’t long till we were back at it again due to the icy conditions. Throughout the events we are thankful that the incidents we had proved to minor and no one was injured.
