Christiana members wrapped up a several week training series on Saturday July 5 by assisting in a control burn at Freedom Life Christian Center located on Noble Road in SadsburyTownship. Communication by officials from Freedom Life Christian Center and Fire Chief Reimold had the church offering an outbuilding structure to Christiana Fire for training purposes with the intent the building to be razed when the activities were completed.

Chief Reimold graciously accepted the opportunity and engaged with additional CFC Training Officers in arranging several weeks’ worth of instruction. Monday evening sessions started June 16 with a building assessment, construction review and ladder work. The following two Monday’s including live burn exercises within the structure followed by the final demolition and burn this past Saturday.
