CFC Extended Family Passing’s

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of two persons associated with the Christiana Fire Company for many years, Ruth Hershey and Bruce Johnstone.

Ruth Hershey was the wife of past Chief and Lifetime member Brayton Hershey. She has been a long standing resident of Christiana and served her community in many ways. http://shiveryfuneralhome.com/Shiveryfuneralhome/Current_Obituaries.html

Bruce Johnstone served many years assisting and aiding the Christiana and nearby communities. Bruce was a longtime member of the Christiana Fire and EMS services. More information to follow as it becomes available.

We extend our sincere condolences to Brayton and the Hershey family as well as the Johnstone family on their recent losses. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
