| Christiana Fire was alerted Saturday afternoon at 1647hrs as part of a first alarm Barn assignment to Bart Township Fire. Lancaster 911 received a call reporting a small shed with hay burning next to a barn at 438 Quaker Church Road.
Engine 52-1 (Lt Stoltzfus) marked up minutes later with a full crew followed by Tanker 52-1 and Tanker 52-2. Christiana units arrived soon after with both tankers staging on the hard road and preparing to connect to a previously laid supply line in the drive. Engine 52-1 proceeded up the drive and sent manpower to manpower staging.
A quick knock had the Bart Command reducing units on the scene to Bart Twp units, an engine from Quarryville and both tankers from Christiana only.
All 52 units clear at 1737hrs. |
