An early morning alert was toned out by LCWC this morning at 01:10 for a crew to transfer with Tanker 5-2-1 to Chester County station 22 (West Grove). Several Chesco units were engaged at the time with a working 20x100 well involved Barn fire in West Marlborough Township, Chester County.

A crew of six gathered and were on their way just minutes after dispatch. It didn't take long before the Command Post was asking for additional manpower and water. Tanker 5-2-1 (Chief Reimold) was now requested to re-direct to the fire scene at 248 Hood Road.

On arrival, Tanker 5-2-1 sent its available manpower to the Manpower Pool to await an assignment. Tanker 5-2-1 continued shuttling water with the other tanker's hauling a total of 17,500+ gallons.

Tanker 5-2-1 cleared the Po-Mar-Lin box at 05:55 and returned to Lancaster County.
