02/11/2019 at 07:49 AM - Station 52 Volunteers were dispatched for a vehicle accident w/injuries, reported car into a utility pole. Road conditions were extremely hazardous at the time due to moderate snowfall. Engine 521 ( Capt. Swift ) responded with crew of 6, arriving at 08:01 AM with 1 patient being treated by 46 Ambulance ( Christiana Community ). The engine crew quickly handled the hazards, notified PP&L of severe damage to the pole, and notified Comcast regarding the cable lines down on the roadway for several hundred feet. Squad 52 along with Christiana fire police handled the traffic control.
Units cleared the scene at 08:55 AM. 11 members responded to the incident.
