Training night at the Station

- The crew from Station 5-2 held our weekly training tonight at the firehouse. Firefighter Wood ran a session utilizing the skills to rescue an injured firefighter without the assistance of a RIT (Rapid Intervention Team). Raging Wildland fire in Sadsbury Township

- On Wednesday afternoon around 1500 hours, Station 5-2 was alerted to assist Station 4-2 (Gap) with a spreading brush fire on Strasburg Road in Sadsbury Township. Tanker 5-2-1(Reimold), Tanker 5-2-2 ( Fisher) and the Brush (Martin) made the response. Christiana Fire Company Receives Federal Grant

- On Friday, May 7th the Christiana Fire Company received notification from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that we were selected to receive a Federal Grant under the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. The grant, in the amount of $21,500 will go towards the purchase of 10 sets of brand new firefighting gear. Many of our firefighters are wearing gear that is extremely worn and outdated, ...
