Chester Fire Station 44, Westwood.

Pumper/Tanker Transfers to Westwood MAY 03 - On May 2nd, the Pumper/Tanker headed down to Chester County Station 44 for a scheduled relocate assignment. Westwood Fire Company Assistant Chief Sly requested Tanker 5-2-1 to cover the fire district, while their members attended the 61st annual fire company banquet held at the Coatesville Country Club. RV Fire on Strasburg Rd MAY 02 - At 14:28 hrs, the Company was alerted to assist Station 4-2 (Gap) on the mobile home fire with a burn victim at 5592 Strasburg Rd, in Sadsbury Township. Tankers from 26 (Atglen) and 4-5 (Kinzer) were also due at this incident since there is no nearby water supply, and Rescue 27 (Cochranville) for RIT. Company Level Hydrant Training APRIL 21 - Monday night training this week was hydrant operations. This is part of a 3 week long pump refresher course for all of our driver/pump operators.
