Training night at the Station

JUNE 28 - The crew from Station 5-2 held our weekly training tonight at the firehouse. Firefighter Wood ran a session utilizing the skills to rescue an injured firefighter without the assistance of a RIT (Rapid Intervention Team).

JUNE 23 - On Wednesday afternoon around 1500 hours, Station 5-2 was alerted to assist Station 4-2 (Gap) with a spreading brush fire on Strasburg Road in Sadsbury Township.

JUNE 16 - On Wednesday evening at 1853 hours, Squad 5-2 was alerted to 132 Christiana Pike in Sadsbury Township to assist EMS with the medical local for an injured farm worker.

Christiana Fire Company Receives Federal Grant

MAY 07 - On Friday, May 7th the Christiana Fire Company received notification from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that we were selected to receive a Federal Grant under the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

The grant, in the amount of $21,500 will go towards the purchase of 10 sets of brand new firefighting gear.
