Station 52 was dispatched on the 2nd Alarm Assignment to assist Station 42 ( Gap ) with a working barn fire. Tanker 52 w/8, Engine 521 w/6 quickly responded arriving on scene at 22:04. Tanker 52 joined numerous other tankers with water supply utilizing 3 fol-da-tanks. Engine 521 on draft to supply a 5" supply line to the scene. An additional 7 firefighters arrived with squad 52 and brush 52. All available manpower was sent into the scene for fire suppression. Crews worked into the early morning hours with Engine 521 returning to quarters at 02:31. Tanker 52 delivered 17,500 gallons of water before going into a nurse operation, off loading an additional 36,000 gallons. Tanker 52 was clear of the incident at 05:03. ( 26) Station 52 members answered the call.
