Borough Rollover w/Entrapment

Today at 10:57 AM, Station 52 was alerted for the vehicle accident with rollover & entrapment on East Slocum Ave. in the vicinity of Green Street. Within minutes Engine 521 ( Capt. Stoltzfus ) w/6 went responding arriving at 11:02. The crew quickly went to work stabilizing the vehicle that was on its side against a utility pole with one person confined by the seat belt. Engine-Tanker 52 ( F.F.Yost ) w/6 arrived at 11:05, assisted the Engine crew & pulled a protection line. With assistance from Rescue 42, the patient was extricated at 11:17 and placed in the hands of EMS ( Christiana Community Ambulance ). During the incident, East Slocum Ave. was closed to traffic by Squad 52 and Fire Police 52. All 52 units were clear of the scene AT 12:05.
