Bart Township Fully Involved Dwelling Fire

January 29, 2018 at 01:05 AM ; Station 52 was alerted for a mutual aid assist to Station 51 ( Bart ) for a dwelling fire at 144 Gibbles Hill Road in Bart Township , along with Stations 57 ( Quarryville ) and Station 42 ( Gap ) for the RIT. Chief 51 ( LeFevre ) while responding received additional information from LCWC which prompted the Working Fire dispatch bringing additional resources. At 01:13, Chief 51 reported on scene with a story and a half dwelling with heavy fire all sides , establishing command. Engine 521 ( Capt. Stoltzfus ) w/6, arrived at 01:19 with instructions to place a line in service on the " A-D " corner of the exterior only suppression. Engine-Tanker 52 ( A/C Lofgren ) w/7, established the water supply to Engine 521, with crew going forward to assist from the manpower pool. Squad 52, w/5 arrived to assist with portable lighting sides " A-D " and assist changing out air bottles. The fire was placed under control with 52 apparatus clearing the scene at 03:50 AM.
