Today at 13:35 hours, Station 52 was dispatched for a vehicle accident with reported partial ejection on route 41 in Atglen Borough, Chester County. Engine 52-1 ( Captain Stoltzfus ) with a crew of 6 arrived finding one vehicle in the roadway with extensive damage and confirmed partial ejection. Chief 52 arrived, established 52 command, requesting Fire Police from Station 42 ( Gap ) and Chester County Station 8 ( Keystone ) to close Route 41 between Route 372 and Zook Road. Squad 52 ( FF Lowry ) arrived to fill in where needed with a crew of 5.

FF/EMT Moore and FF/EMT Vandenbosch with assistance from several other firefighters immediately went to work on the seriously injured patient while waiting the arrival of Ambulance 46 and Medic 93. Excellent job by all involved. After cleanup of a large amount of debris from the roadway command was terminated at 14:40.
