At 7:58 P.M. Station 52 Volunteers were dispatched to assist Station 42 ( Gap Fire Company ) with a Commercial Building Fire at 5293 Lincoln Highway in Salisbury Township. First arriving Captain 42-2 reporting smoke showing. Engine 52-1 ( Capt. Stoltzfus ) with crew of 6, pulled a backup line from Rescue 42, advancing to assist interior crews. Tanker 52-1 ( Asst. Buckwalter ) with crew of 6 supplemented interior operations while a water supply was established to Rescue 42. Squad 52 also responded with 5, filling in where needed.

The stubborn fire was brought under control at 8:51 P.M. with multiple companies rotating crews for overhaul.
