Zion Hill Road Dwelling

At 06:34 Station 52 along with mutual aid companies were dispatched for a dwelling fire in the Zion Hill section of Atglen Borough. Captain 52 ( Lofgren ) arrived on scene at 06:40 reporting 2 story single family dwelling with normal conditions. Truck 42 arriving at 06:43 entered the basement area finding the fire to be extinguished by the property owner. Fire was contained to the stove pipe. Engine 52-1 ( Capt. Stoltzfus ) arrived 06:44 with crew also going to the basement checking for any extension. The Crew of C.C Engine 27-2 assisted with natural ventilation. All crews were available/ returning at 07:10. Station 52 had 12 members respond.
