On Wednesday afternoon around 1500 hours, Station 5-2 was alerted to assist Station 4-2 (Gap) with a spreading brush fire on Strasburg Road in Sadsbury Township.
Tanker 5-2-1(Reimold), Tanker 5-2-2 ( Fisher) and the Brush (Martin) made the response. Tanker 1's crew operated a handline stretched in from the roadway, while Tanker 2 filled several other tanker units operating on the fire scene. The brush crew hit some hot spots, utlizing the vehicles four wheel drive capacities.
Station 5-2 was clear the incident scene around 16:30 hours.
